About
My name is Piaras Higgins, I'm a student of languages, having acquired a GCSE and an A level in Latin, and I'm now teaching the fundamentals of Latin and Greek for beginners online [via webcam].

Teaching style
I use the traditional teaching method which involves taking the learner through the language slowly, step by step, and making sure that they can both understand how the language functions and translate it comfortably.
Qualifications
I have studied Latin and Greek for a number of years now and have acquired qualifications including a GCSE and a self taught A level in Latin [OCR], a GCSE in ancient Greek, as well as the NLE introduction to Latin exam. View my resume here
Lessons
I am happy to teach adults and children from seven years up (I can teach up to four children within a family). My aim is to help the learner get a firm grasp on the fundamental basics of the language, taking them through and helping them memorise the grammatical concepts, and providing, if the learner wishes, exercises to help with translating. A free introductory lesson is available in which I can give the learner an idea of how the lessons could be structured. Paid lessons cost £20 per hour (please note that pricing and the length of the lessons can be discussed).
